Recognizing the enormity of the challenges our society faces, Jalil Center for Hope is dedicated to making a lasting impact through our campaigns and programs. While our efforts are driven by our organization’s singular focus, we spread a wide net by investing in a variety of progressive strategies. Learn more about our initiatives and get involved yourself. Every dollar donated will go towards the costs, primarily direct client services, to provide help that is most beneficial to every client! Each service has been determined by those that have suffered loss and were identified as benefits that would have been helpful when they were going through their crisis.
Relocation and Hotel accommodations
When crime or death happens at home
One of the ultimate attacks on your personal secirity is for a crime to happen where you are supposed to be safe, at home. We hare at JCH understand that continuing to live in a place where the ultimate fear has occurred could be difficult for many. With that same notion, when someone you love dies suddenly in your home, the same difficulties in continuing to live there may arise. We want to provide a way for you to escape the reminder of your crisis as best we can!
Assist with relocation for sudden death or certain crimes that happened in the home, complex, or park.
Secure safe hotel accommodations during relocation.

When Death occurs
When the unthinkable happens most of us do not know where to begin. God sent me a friend that forced me to do what I did not want to do, make funeral arrangements. I did not want to accept that he was gone, much less plan a funeral. My help came from the most unexpected place, a friend I had not spoke to in years. She made phone calls, checked rates, did everything she could to find out what I would want or he would want no matter how many times I told her I did not care! In the end, my son had a beautiful service and repass as we were surrounded by friends and family. I want to do for others what that beautiful friend did for me, make sure that no matter how much you do not wan to deal with it, the funeral is planned as a proper goodbye to your loved one. I will forever be grateful to my friends, Vanessa, Kisha, and Tiffany!
